Matt Liddy
Managing Director, LiddyCo
Matt has a Bachelor of Engineering (Chemical, Hons I) degree from the University of Queensland and has completed executive education courses run by Georgetown University and Duke Corporate Education. He is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
Matt is a results-driven global executive operating for over 30 years with Tier 1 companies in resources and manufacturing. Significant experience in managing activities in the Middle East, Asia, North & South America, Europe and Australia including finding and developing new business opportunities, joint venture management, operations, business improvement, Board representation and new country entry.
With highly developed external engagement, negotiation and influencing skills, he is accomplished in establishing and managing relationships with JV partners, governments, and suppliers.
Strong strategic thinking, management capabilities and problem-solving skills which are utilised to develop and drive innovative solutions. Advanced level financial analysis and risk management skills which are used to deliver value by leveraging commercial and operational key value drivers.
Matt has a hands-on and collaborative approach with a track record of leading and working in teams, engaging stakeholder to achieve optimal results and successfully manage change, and a strong focus on stakeholder value and ethical business practices.
